A delegation of six people led by Vice President Dae Hee Lee from Inje University in South Korea visited SDFMU from April 11th to 13th. Secretary of the Party Committee of SDFMU), Sijin Liu, met with Professor Dae Hee Lee and his delegation. Pengcheng Wang, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of SDFMU, also participated in the activities.
Sijin Liu introduced the overview of SDFMU and the achievements in the areas of medical education, scientific research innovation, talent introduction, medical services, and international cooperation since the integration of science and education in 2019. He hoped that through the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, both sides could further strengthen communication and establish a more extensive and substantive cooperative relationship. Dae Hee Lee introduced the general information of Inje University and its talent training model, expressing great anticipation for enhanced collaboration between the two sides in teacher-student exchanges, scientific research, and Industry-University-Research to promote friendship and seek mutual development.
Subsequently, Pengcheng Wang and Dae Hee Lee signed a cooperation memorandum on behalf of both parties. College of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data for Medical Sciences of SDFMU signed a memorandum of cooperation with College of AI Convergence and Institute of Digital Anti-Aging Healthcare of Inje University.
During the visit, Dae Hee Lee and his delegation visited the Second Affiliated Hospital of SDFMU, Neck-Shoulder and Lumbocrural Pain Hospital of SAMS, and toured the Proton Center at Cancer Hospital of SDFMU, Medical Science and Technology Innovation Center, and the Medical Imaging Museum of SDFMU.
Heads and experts from relevant Schools and Departments participated in the activities.
